Hood Sailmakers (Aust) P/L is 100% Australian owned and operated by Ian Lindsay Ian Broad and Tim Messenger, and was the first sail loft outside of the USA to be granted a franchise in 1968 by the founder Ted Hood.</STRONG> </P>
<P>We are all qualified sailmakers having done our apprenticeships under the legends of the industry Joe Pearce and Peter Cole in the late 1960's and early 1970's.</P>
<P>Our wealth of experience in sailmaking and sail design and the experience of our international group guarantees a first class quality product.</P>
<P><BR>Our expertise covers all types and sizes of yachts and one design sails. Hood Sailmakers can manufacture sails for all boats from mini's to maxi's and monohulls to multihulls.</P>
<P>Genoa Furling systems are popular with many people and we can supply and install furling units and supply new furling genoas or alter existing sails to suit.</P>
